Chance's towering new achievement

Kansas-based amusement ride company, Chance Morgan, saw the opening to long queues of its first ever Observation Tower during the Mothers Day weekend in America.

The 200ft tall Boardwalk Tower has been erected at Landry’s Kemah Boardwalk at Kemah, near Houston in Texas.

Designed by Ronald Bussink of Holland and built at Chance’s Wichita manufacturing plant, the tower features an enclosed, 32-passenger rotating gondola, which gives guests a scenic, 5 minute air-conditioned ride.

The tower joins two other Chance Morgan rides which have opened at Kemah this year – an Aviator and an Inverter – and will operate alongside an existing 36ft Carrousel; a C.P.Huntington train, newly extended and themed to the Old West Town under the New Saltgrass Steakhouse; a Century Wheel and a Pharaoh’s Fury.
